***This is the sixth book in the series. First five books must be read in order to fully understand this story line.***
The king in my world fell and a new one slid into place.
He wasn’t just.
He wasn’t FAIR.
He was cruel and hateful and twisted.
But I had this black king figured out.
Or so I thought.
The game became complicated because my black king had some new moves and one of those involved my heart. Hope trickled in for the briefest of moments.
That is, until my black king and my heart sided against me. Those two didn’t play FAIR. They used me as their pawn in a bigger game—a game I didn’t know how to play.
The laws changed. I didn’t play by their rules anymore, for the queen makes up her own.
I am not a pawn.
I am not theirs to use and abuse.
I belong to nobody.
There are new players on the board and they don’t play FAIR either. But the white king does know how to treat his queen. And together, they will make them pay.
All’s FAIR in love and war, right?
Definitely not this time.
This Isn’t Fair, Baby is a dark romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you.
Rating: 5 stars
First of, I have to bow down to the greatness that is K. Webster. This woman is one talented lady. She keeps giving me hit after hit after hit and I am in awe of her prowess in the dark and gritty romances. Like she is legit the freaking QUEEN. The War and Peace definitely a force. Ever since I started book 1, I have been taken to absolute roller coaster of a journey filled with lots of thrills, excitement and flat out punch dripping drama that freaking cause enough crippling and delicious tremors. From the moment Angelina laid eyes on him, she fell into a fantasy. Mysterious, foreign, gorgeous, Haithem offered her what she needed most—a chance to feel again.

For Angelina, that price is her future.

Haithem warned her. He told her he’d make her heart race, her body come alive, and her most primal needs rush to the surface. His for the taking.
He didn’t say she’d come to love the devil who’s destroying her, even as he keeps her prisoner.

When I read the blurb of Didn't I Warn You, I was so excited that I decided to it. However when I started reading, I was a bit disappointed by it. This was my first book by Amber Bardan and I felt underwhelmed by the book. It was really a good book with a good plot but there were certain parts I needed more of.
Didn't I Warn You was an intriguing and mysterious book that totally gave me the chills I need in a book. It had the right dose of suspense that was both thrilling and enveloped while I was reading the book. Amber Bardan definitely wrote a good story with a slow build up that made me become so engrossed in the book. She is one talented author who wrote an undeniable and electrifying story. However I needed more dark in the story. It did not have enough darkness to elevate the story to another level. It took mea long time to fully connect with the story until halfway of the book things started to click. One thing I loved the most that there was enough sex scenes that totally brought the heat. I definitely felt it.
The characters of the book were interesting. Haithem was this mysterious and rich alpha male with such a dangerous and secretive past that gave him an edge. I was gripped by his charactetistics from the first page. There was just something extra sexy about him that made me become enticed. Angelina is another story. Whereas I liked Haithem, I did not like Angelina. I felt that she annoyed me a lot. I just wanted to shake her so she could wake up. She was sassy which I liked but I just could not feel her connection to Haithem that much.
Didn't I Warn You did intrigueand I definitely want to see how this series progresses

“Ever f*cked a pirate?”
He was insufferable, deeply scarred, and frustratingly gorgeous, and he was the man who was blackmailing her into tying the knot.
Cora Harris has never had luck with men. Being the daughter of a ruthless crime boss tended to put a dent in any relationship, but she never imagined she’d get kidnapped in the dead of night by pirates. She sure as hell never imagined the asshole with the smoldering gaze would threaten everyone she loved if she didn’t become his wife.
Only Captain James Crow wants more than just her hand in holy matrimony. He wants her absolute submission. He wants her pain. He wants the one thing she’s never given anyone — her heart. But is he willing to give the daughter of his sworn enemy his in return?
“How easily his eyes could make her forget that he was her captor. Not her savior.”
But when the truth is revealed, can James keep Cora from the true evil in their midst? Can he win before his revenge cost him more than just his life? And how far will Cora go to free herself of the man who enchanted her, seduced her, and when she submitted, imprisoned her?
Vengeance and betrayal will either bring two warring families together or obliterate them all.
This book is adult and intended for a mature audience with strong elements of language, sex, and a dirty mouthed pirate. It has cases of BDSM, kink, and violence.
My Rating: 5 stars
Holy Fuck, what an amazing book. Wow. Where the heck have I been? Seriously how come have I not read any of this author’s books? Because Blood Script blew me away. Technically Blood Script had enough blood pumping storyline to make my heart go on a frenzy. Blood Script was my first book from Airicka Phoenix and as I said where have I been because this book was freaking fantastic. Blood Script was a story that gave me so much excitement that I could not contain at all. I wanted to shout at the heavens at how freaking phenomenal this book was to me. I was so hooked. Blood Script offered a unique and fast pacing dark romance that had enough edge to cause so many chills down my spine.
Blood Script totally brought out the suspense I crave in a book. I was submerged in all the drama that it seriously made me question my insanity at times. Wickedly brilliant. Electrifying. Gritty. Blood Script was a tempting story of pirates, toe curling tension, sexual control and sin. It was a gush of wind that rattled my heart. It was a crippling effect of epic proportions that fueled the fire inside me. I was stunned. I was pulled in. I was riveted. Blood Script was panty melting mix of goodness that brought enough pleasure in me. Airicka Phoenix definitely impressed me. She brought enough artistry and difference to the book that definitely sparked with life. It was genius to me. Blood Script kind of reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean but more edgier, more darker, more modern and oozing with red hot passion enough to burn a hole in my soul and enough to give me pulsing hot tremors on my skin. Blood Script definitely was a phenomenal read.
In a book, the characters make the book interesting. And let me tell you, James and Cora really stood out for me in this book. Wow. They had that spicy hot chemistry that was both tongue waging but also with enough chemistry to get me on the edge of my seat. It was beautiful. It was sexy. It was deliciously indulgent. It was undeniable smack on your face erotic. I felt it in my veins. They were definitely one of my favourite couple. Yes. James and Cora ticked my bones in a good way. I was invested on their thoughts together as a couple.
Cora really shocked me as a heroine. I love my heroine with enough fight and drive and Cora had it. She was feisty, strong and badass woman that really made me love her. I definitely would want to her best friend. She is that type of heroine you could have fun with. I also that she had vulnerability without her being weak. It added a good element to her character. James reminded me Captain Jack Sparrow but hotter, sexier and just perfect. I loved him. Omg, he was delicious. He made my ovaries melt. Sweet baby that man was just on a league of his own. He was a fine piece of man that I wanted to take on a wild ride with. Oh gosh his mouth, his cockiness and his dominance was sexy as hell. I want him. Man, he was a dangerous criminal but he made my blood boil. I loved every moment of it.
Blood Script introduced me to a fantastic author I will be stalking more of. I want more of her books. This story was a hold on tight kind of read. So be ready.

“I ADORED every single second of this book.” ~Between The Bookends
“In true Ella Fox style I Don't is fan-freaking-tasting! It is intriguing, sexy and has a wonderful story.” ~Reader Review
“I Don’t is a steamy, suspenseful read.” ~Three Chicks
“It's Mr. Gretchen isn't it?”
“Um, no,” Ben answered, “This is most definitely not Mr. Gretchen.”
“Okayyy,” I drawled. “You’re acting weird, so I have to assume it’s someone unusual. Is it the President? George Clooney? Oh, wait. I know. It’s Channing Tatum. If I’ve told him once, I’ve told him a dozen times not to call me at work—"
“Not even close. This man—he says he’s your fiancé.”
My heart stopped beating for several seconds. When it started up again, I assured myself I was asleep. Yep, that had to be it. I was having a nightmare. With my free hand, I pinched my thigh, wincing at the twinge of pain. Dammit, I was awake.
No, no, no, I chanted inwardly as I started to panic. I was nowhere near ready to deal with him. Surely he wouldn’t have tracked me down at work. With me gone, he should be living the bachelor life to the fullest, so busy dealing with his social calendar that thinking of me was impossible. I prayed that there was some kind of mistake or that whoever was on the phone wasn’t him. Maybe it was someone calling for another Ava. That could happen, right?
“His voice,” I whispered. “Does he sound—”
“Spanish?” Ben supplied. “Yeah.”
I’d been about to ask if he sounded like a stubborn son-of-a-bitch, but Spanish told me what I needed to know.

OMG, This book was utterly perfection. I am so serious when I tell you that I was left with a big grin when I finished reading it. I could not help but just be fully happy about this book. Ella Fox is beyond my favourite authors when I started out reading romance. Back then, I used to read her Hart Family series and I loved it. Now he has another book based on another on the Cruz Family. I wear it is going to be sexy, sweet and oh so perfect.
I Don't was a charming book that made me drool and my knees all weak. It was a book that made me smile, laugh, angry and flat out fell in love with it. Indulgent. Seductive. Intriguing. I Don't gave a mix of power and sexiness that dripped in honey and ecstasy. It was spicy. It was smoking hot that I could feel the red hot passion seeping from its pages. I was definitely swimming in this book fantastic page. I Don't gave a define level of pent up sauciness that made me melt and swoon. The story was off the charts perfection. I swear I thought my kindle would burst and short circuit with the heat. The writing was so sublime that I was fully soaked in the words that I found myself devouring this book. Ella Fox knows how to certainly write the perfect story with a hint of angst, drama and naughtiness that speaks volumes. I was fully immersed in her writing. I Don't is a true summer read that you can fully take to the beach and get lost in it.
I Don't introduced me to Mateo Cruz and Avelina Saez, a couple with such a beautiful and smoking chemistry that was off the charts. Man, I swear these two were perfect together. Avelina was bold, strong, stubborn and loving. I love heroines like her who are able to go toe to toe with their alpha males. She is the epitome of a sexy and successful woman with a vulnerability and steadfast nature that made her so likable. I adored her. Mateo, My Spanish Alpha. OMG, i WANTED TO BE WRAPPED IN HIS ARMS LOL. I wanted him to speak Spanish to me as he serenades me. Hahaha. He made me swoon, drool and set my ovaries on fire. Dominant. Hot. Asshole at times. He was that alpha that set me fire. Both Mateo and Avelina had that sexiness that really made freaking sigh.
I Don't is definitely going to my list of favourite reads. I can't wait until the next book. I know it is going to be freaking amazing.

For the last year and a half, you could sum up my life in one word… disastrous.
One simple phone call was all it took to change my life forever.
If I could go back and do it again, what would I change?
What should have been one of the best days of my life turned into the absolute worst. Cast in a shadow that turns my days dark, and my nights even darker.
Before I can put the pain of the past behind me, I need to fix what’s broken.
The first step is believing it can be done, the second is forgiveness.
But forgiveness doesn’t come easy, least of all for who is to blame.
For every choice, there are consequences.
Some simply unforgivable.
One poor choice made me the target of a sociopath.
And once again, I’m reminded just how cruel life can be.
I’ve come to learn after every storm, the sun shines again.
And, someone taught me life is only worth living if you smile.
It took almost losing him for me to understand.
What would I change?
Everything, but him!

Wow, what a truly amazing book filled with so much loss, pain and tragedy that I certainly had tears in my eyes while I was read. Never I had a book that pulled me in so deep and make me so emotional that all my of me was just shaking. This is my first book by Heidi Lis and I was definitely impressed by her words that reflected such deep love, pain and sorrow. I fell in love with everything about it. I was drowned in it.
Losing Hope is about Hope Emerson, a young woman who went through such a deep ordeal and is trying to move on from her life. She meets new loves and new friends as she tries to navigate her life. This book made me into an emotional mess. I was completely had my heart completely twisted out while reading. Losing Hope was a celebration of life. It was a story of moving on from pain. It was a story about healing from a tragedy. I was completely swept away by the true beauty of this story. Raw. Poignant. Heartwarming. Heart wrenching. Honest. Losing Hope embodied the strength and fight of a woman. The writing itself was impeccable that it left such a significant imprint in me. Yeah it did have some hot scenes but I loved the message it gave me. If You are faced with such untold pain, all you need to have faith and hope because things will be alright in the end.
Losing Hope was all about Hope. She was center of this book and the man character in my eyes. She was faced with so much in her life. I felt for her more but I could relate to her. We all go through pain in our lives but it is how we try to move on from it. I saw strength in Hope. I saw a woman so damaged but still had fight in her. I saw a woman plagued by guilt but still tried to let go. Hope was a beautiful woman and I totally adored who she was was. She was honest through and through.
Losing Hope is certainly the book to read and it made me want to read more books by Heidi Lis. There is talent in her writing but also there is something absolutely entrancing about it.

K.A Linde always delivers hard hitting romances with so much dram and angst. She does it so well that you cannot be helped but be pulled into her web of amazing and swoon stories. When you read K.A. Linde she gives you an experience into her world that brings you so much decadence and allure that you just simply have to read her books. The Wright Brother was a tantalizing read that gave me such a sweet ride that I did not want to end.
The Wright Brother is a sweet and sexy story that made you heart flutter and so warm inside. I felt I was just floating in air and just giving an beautiful sigh because this book was just so magical. Addictive. Incredible. Moving. Swoon worthy. K.A. Linde wrote a book that was so fresh and care free but also melted my heart and caused the sweetest explosion ever. It was as sweet as a candy and all I wanted was to take a lick of everything The Wright Brother had to offer. There were parts I felt I wanted more. I was a bit underwhelmed but they was a good delivery of plot that I found myself enjoying.
The characters added something extra dynamic to the story. I found their thoughts so enthralling and engaging. Jensen was an asshole but he was alpha and sweet at times. I was swooning hard for him. I loved Emery. She was spunky. brash and fun. They definitely had undeniable chemistry that was genuine and hot sometimes.
The Wright Brother was an enjoyable read that made me so happy.

Entice Me is a contemporary Romance novella that explores the adventures of Nikki Fairchild and Damien Stark. You have to read the Stark Series to be able to understand Entice Me. Written by one of my favourite authors J. Kenner, Entice Me combines a sultry and erotic seduction with a passion filled and illicit edge. Entice Me took me to a journey filled with drama, love and pleasure that certainly piqued my attention and gave me the best feelings.
Entice Me follows the lives of Nikki and Damien as a married couple. I was so excited that J. Kenner was going to write more books on Nikki and Damien. I happen to love this couple hard and they always give a sense of contentment when I read about them. Reading Entice Me totally enticed me and enthralled me. It is such a phenomenal read that I can’t help but fall in love with the book. For a novella, I was so pulled into the story and transported into the pages of the book. One can’t help but be swept away by the Stark World because it is that one world that brings you joy and warms your heart. J. Kenner always pulls you into her world and makes you so satisfied whenever you are reading books. Her writing is always impeccable and that is why I never stopped reading her books from the day I started reading her books. I was hooked from the first page to the last page.
Nikki and Damien are the perfect couple. They have that chemistry that is both flawless and just right. I love them because they each have flaws but they are a unit. Damien was one of those first book boyfriends I loved when I started reading romance. I was in love lol. Till this day, he still has the ability to make swoon hard and make my ovaries sing the happiest tunes. Cliché, I know. He is always dark, foreboding and dominant. He puts you in a spell that you never want to come out of at all. Nikki is such a sassy and strong woman. She has flaws that make the bravest but yet vulnerable. And I love that about her a lot.
Entice me is a novella you have to read. The whole Stark Series is the series you have to sink your heart into. Trust me, it is amazing. I am so excited for the next book of Nikki and Damien. I know it going to epic and I am so ready to be swept away.

My Rating: 4 stars
Holy Smokes, what a sensual and seductive book. Wow, Disarmed was a book I totally loved to bits. There were so much passion and love written in this book that I was so glued to the book. I even devoured this book like I was devouring a piece of cake. Disarmed was certainly a guilty pleasure that I wanted a bite of more and more. To make it much sweeter is that this is my first book by Eva LeNoir. What a debut for me. Omg, the story captivated and consumed me.
Disarmed is a story about art connoisseur Jade who leads a double life. By day she in charge of an art gallery. By night, she submits herself to her Masters, Miles and Carson. However, Miles feels and wants more. This story was a unique BDSM story. It had elements that brought out angst, emotion and an extra powerful edge that was beautifully written and perfectly executed. Every scene in Disarmed flowed so easily that I was able to follow the story. I really enjoyed the role of domination and submission in the story. It had more depth and it gave a more distinctive dynamic to the story. Plus the sex scenes were hot. I was fanning myself the entire time lol. However, I wanted more. There were parts that I felt I needed to know more. They were just too rushed that I found myself not connecting with certain areas.
Miles and Jade have genuine chemistry that was off the charts. I would have wanted the author to explore Miles and Jade more together as a couple. Jade was strong. She had an independent nature that I really loved but still be able to submit to Miles. She had a vulnerability that gave her an extra edge to her. Mile was protective and so alpha. Omg, his dominant side was sexy but I loved that she had moment were he was there for Jade.
Disarmed was a charming and refreshing book to me. I loved it and it definitely exposed me to an author I will be reading more of.

The price of survival…
Gabriel Miller swept into my life like a storm. He tore down my father with cold retribution, leaving him penniless in a hospital bed. I quit my private all-girl’s college to take care of the only family I have left.
There’s one way to save our house, one thing I have left of value.
A forbidden auction…
Gabriel appears at every turn. He seems to take pleasure in watching me fall. Other times he’s the only kindness in a brutal underworld.
Except he’s playing a deeper game than I know. Every move brings us together, every secret rips us apart. And when the final piece is played, only one of us can be left standing.
THE PAWN is a full-length contemporary novel from New York Times bestselling author Skye Warren about revenge and seduction in the game of love.

"Every pawn is a potential queen. – James Mason
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so excited to bring you the most amazing story of this century, The Pawn, an edgy, sensual and seductive story that will have you at the edge of your feet and give you the most illicit shivers ever. Damn, I was so in love with this book. It was that book that just oozed dark romance perfection at its finest. I was simply in love with everything in this book. I am a huge fan of Skye Warren and she definitely outdid herself with The Pawn. Wow, I am in awe.
“You taste like I’m fucking dying and you’re the only water around. You taste like goddamn air.”
The Pawn is about the story of a naive girl, Avery who is led into a dangerous game with a billionaire Gabriel Miller. Wow, this story was so mind blowing. The Pawn was a dangerous, gritty and suspenseful book that had me reeling. I felt like I was in a movie. I am telling The Pawn gave me the most amazing goosebumps that I could feel it my skin. Wow, I was so addicted like a person who is addicted to alcohol and drugs. The Pawn was my own personal drug and I wanted to live in the high it gave me. The Pawn was pushed to its greatest heights. I was captured from the first page to the last. The Pawn was like a cat and mouse game but with a dangerous and high stakes. Skye Warren truly wrote a magnificent book. She is a genius. I would love to go into her brain and know how she comes with stories like this. (I am fangirling here a bit lol). The Pawn oozed dark and grit in its beautiful form. Not only was it suspense but there was a story of sacrifice. How far are you willing to go to help the ones you love even though you know it will cost you your reputation and also a piece of you?Yep, this story will cripple you and bury you but in a good way.
"A little bird in a gilded cage. Why keep one except to hear her sing?"
Avery is such a naive girl. I mean there were times I wanted to shake her to her senses. But she had a quiet strength to her that made her such a likable character. I loved her journey as a woman. I always love when I read a woman discovery her sexual self. I saw her developing chapter by chapter. It was such delightful process to read.
"He’s like a puppet master , moving me faster and faster until I come apart."
Gabriel, Oh my Gabriel. What a man. My gosh, I absolutely fell in love with me. He was dangerous, unpredictable, harsh and so secretive. I wanted to know more about him. He had that swagger and edge that was just so darn sexy. Aaa, I want to have his babies lol. Gabriel also had moments of vulnerability that I wanted to know more. There is more to him and I cannot wait to know a bit more in the next book.
The Pawn is one of those books that will forever be etched in my ind. I really cannot wait for the next book because there is so much I want to find out. With Skye Warren, I know it is going to be a wild epic ride.

To most people, princes, princesses, counts and dukes are found only in the pages of the most famous of fairytales. Crowns, priceless jewels and gilded thrones belong only in childhood dreams.
But for some, these frivolous fancies are truth.
For some, they are real life.
On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, people have always treated me as someone special. All because of my ancestral name and legacy. All because of a connection I share to our home country’s most important family of all.
I am Caresa Acardi, the Duchessa di Parma. A blue blood of Italy. I was born to marry well. And now the marriage date is set.
I am to marry into House Savona. The family that would have been the royals had Italy not abolished the monarchy in 1946. But to the aristocrats of my home, the abolition means nothing at all.
The Savonas still hold power where it counts most.
In our tight-knit world of money, status and masked balls, they are everything and more.
And I am soon to become one of them.
I am soon to become Prince Zeno Savona’s wife…
… or at least I was, until I met Achille.
And everything changed.

As my papa’s G5 began its descent, I looked out of the window beside me and waited for the plane to break through the clouds. I held my breath, body tense, then suddenly the burnt-orange remnants of daylight flooded the plane, bathing the interior with a soft, golden glow. I inhaled deeply. Italia.
Fields and fields of green and yellow created a patchwork quilt below, rolling hills and crystal-blue lakes stretching as far the eye could see. I smiled as a sense of warmth ran through me.
It was the most beautiful place on earth.
Sitting back in my wide cream leather chair, I closed my eyes and tried to prepare myself for what was coming. I was flying to Florence airport, from where I would be swiftly taken to the Palazzo Savona estate just outside of the city.
I would meet Prince Zeno.
I had met him twice before—once when I was four, of which I had no memory, and again when I was ten. The interaction we’d had as children had been brief. If I was being honest, I had found Zeno to be arrogant and rude. He had been thirteen at the time and not at all interested in meeting a ten-year-old girl from America.
Neither of us had known at the time that that our betrothal had been agreed upon two years prior. It turned out that the trip my papa had taken to Umbria when I was eight was to secure a forever-bond between the Savonas and the Acardis. King Santo and my father had planned for their only children to marry. They were already joined in business; Zeno’s arranged marriage to me would also strengthen both families’ place in society.
I thought back on my New York farewell of nine hours ago and sighed. My parents had driven me to the private hangar and said their goodbyes. My mama cried—her only child was leaving her for a new life. My papa, although sad to see me go, beamed at me with the utmost pride. He had held me close and whispered, “I have never been more proud of you than I am right now, Caresa. Savona Wines’ stock has plummeted since Santo’s death. This union will reassure all the shareholders that our business is still strong. That we are still a stable company with Zeno at the helm.”
I had given him a tight smile and boarded the plane with a promise that they would see me before the wedding. And that had been that.
I was to marry Zeno, and I hadn’t protested even once. I imagined to most modern-day women living in New York, the process of arranged marriages sounded positively medieval, even barbaric. For a blue blood, it was simply a part of life.
King Santo Savona died two months ago. The shareholders of his many Italian vineyards, the stakeholders in Savona Wines, had expected his son, Zeno, to immediately step up and take charge. Instead, Zeno had plunged himself into the party scene even harder than before—and that was quite a feat. Within weeks my papa had flown out to Umbria to see what could be done.
The answer: our imminent union.

What a beautiful book. Omg. What an absolute gorgeous story. I simply could not help but fall in love with it. This is my first Tillie Cole book. Shocking, right?I was just blown away by the story. I mean, this book screamed love and heart. I just could not help but be swept with the story and live in the moment because this book completely had me spellbound. I was completely and utterly amazed by A Veil of Vines as a whole. It was just perfect.
A Veil Of Vines is a modern fairy tale of royalty, nobility, heart, pain, destiny and true love set in the beautiful wine lands of Italy. It was such a beautifully written story full of emotions and intensity that truly and irrevocably touched my heart, body, mind and soul. The story itself was so unique and different that I was just blown away. It is one of those stories that screamed originality and perfection. i was so engaged with the story. Tillie Cole knows how to write a book. Her descriptions were so vivid that it felt that I was in the story itself feeling the emotions and actions. I was definitely moved to the story. Oh yes. I was emotionally wrecked by mot parts that they trully touched me to the depths of soul. Tillie Cole definitely gave a piece of literature that had so much purpose. I commend her for that. Plus her sex scenes were so sensual and full of passion and love that wow, I thought my kindle will burst into flames.
A Veil of Vine introduces to facts about on philosophical and deeper level of soulmates that the characters to me were the real deal even thought it i fiction. We were introduced to Caresa and Achille, two different people from different worlds who destined to be. I love them as a couple. They had that raw chemistry that made an amazing couple to read. Caresa was a strong heroine and also vulnerable. There was a balance to her that made her so likable. Achille, oh Achille, I loved him. I loved him that he was genuine and authentic. You do not be cocky or dominant but just loving and caring. And Achille definitely nailed that. Italians always do it best lol.
A Veil of Vine was a story that really touched me to the core. I loved it. I will definitely be reading more books from Tillie Cole. I am definitely a fan
