Author: K. Bromberg
Release Day: November 14, 2016
An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.
It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.
I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.
With a plus one.
And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.
Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.
When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.
But I didn’t.
And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?
My Rating: 5 stars
I am a huge fan of K. Bromberg, She wrote the Driven series, a phenomenal series that I absolutely adore. When I heard that she was going in a new route and doing something different, I was so excited. Sometimes it takes one different book from an author you love to really make you love her more. I irrevocably loved Sweet Cheeks so much. Sweet Cheeks is a swoon worthy, panty melting and heartwarming story about second chances, redemption and love. I simply fell in love with it.
Sweet Cheeks is a story that reminds you of warm summer nights, brightly lit moon, sugar sweet candies and cool breeze that gives you amazing tingles on your skin. It was simply perfection. I loved the storyline that I was so smiling through out the book. It was sweet. It was swoony. It was full of angst. It was an addictive read that pulled me in from the first page to the last page. I fell in love so deeply with it. K. Bromberg gave us an amazing and captivating story that moved and touched my soul. The amount of sexual tension in the book was so hot. I loved that there was a balance of plot vs sex scenes and I got to really understand the story better. She wrote a flawless story of love and pain that made my heart tingle in the right place. Sweet Cheeks was simply a magnificent that makes you believe in love. It was so beautiful.
Sweet Cheeks introduced us to Saylor and Hayes, Two characters I felt were so perfect together had amazing chemistry through out the book that you just could not help but fall in love. I was smiling at their banter, at their goofiness but they had heart which exploded and made me love them more and more.
Saylor Rodgers was a heroine who I loved. She was independent, strong and sassy. There were times that I actually felt so sorry for her and I wanted to give her big hug. In a way I could relate to her a lot. She is someone you would love to be friends with.
Move over Colton Donavan, there is a new alpha in town and his name is Hayes Whitley. Wow. I was swooning. Hayes is that hero that I wish could exist in reality because I will snag him and have babies with him. He was that alpha that made toe curl and my heart tingle lol. I want a guy like him. He was so loving and caring to Saylor. He was cocky without being a douche. Aaaa, I want him lol.
Sweet Checks was a perfect magical story that was candy sweet and panty dropping hot that this is K. Bromberg at her best. You should definitely read this book. Trust me.
About K. Bromberg

She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.
On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift), and a novella (UnRaveled). She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out November 14th.
