I love discovery new authors and what is so awesome is that I discover authors who write a book that is interesting and clearly fall in love with it. I am a person who loves taboo. I gravitate towards them. Stepdaddy Savage was a hot as hell, raunchy, sexy and addictive read that made me so excited. Of course there are so many stepbrother stories but what I love more is that Stepdaddy Savage was so different because it included a hot stepdaddy.
Stepdaddy Savage was an awesome book to read. It was short and hot and I devoured this book in one day. Not only was it hot and sexy as hell but the story itself was so unique and mind blowing. Hey, I would love to have a stepdaddy like Graham Savage because my oh my my this man had a filthy mouth and it was delicious as fuck lol. Ok, Ok, It is fiction but damn I would have fantastic dreams about Graham Savage. Charleigh Rose were able to weave a story that had my fantasies come to life and of course telling a story that made my heart pump with glee. Stepdaddy Savage not only was it sexy and smutty but it made my ovaries explode by the sheer amount of sexiness. There was definitely an overload of sexiness for real lol. They definitely brought in the fun and the smutty and I loved every moment of it. Not only was it sexy but there was some sarcastic jokes that had me laughing hard.
The characters were so explosive. I loved them. Dahlia was young but I liked her because she wasn't those annoying teenagers that get on my nerves but she had some structure and she was kind of badass which I loved so much. Graham was so hot lol. He was over the top and possessive alpha with a dirty mouth that I just wanted to love him lol. Of course have mind blowing sex with him if he was real. I loved them because they has a special chemistry that gave the book an edge and of course in society life it can be wrong but hey it is fiction and I loved it.

Title: Blame it on the Shame Part 1
Author: Ashley Jade
Release Date: August 23
Rating: 5 stars
"Shame. It wounds us. It damages us. Or, for the few poor souls out there like me... it defines us."
Wow, this book. I have no words. No words at all because Blame it on the Shame Part 1 was just so beautiful. It was just a book but it was the book of all books. Written by Ashley Jade who has become one of my favourite authors, Blame it on the Shame Part 1 is an amazing story of pain, emotion, action and danger. Not only is it amazing but it is a gorgeous masterpiece that truly touched my heart
"The heart is the most peculiar and complex structure in the world."
Blame it on the Shame Part 1 is the story of Ricardo and Lou-Lou who we first meet in Blame it on the Pain. Note that you must read Blame it on the Pain first. In Blame it on the Shame Part 1, we get to understand and get to know Ricardo and Lou-Lou's story more. It is one of the most of the heartbreaking books and I was such an emotional story. It had me crying a lot. Ashley Jade truly wrote a story that was so memorable that I am still thinking about it after I finished it. Blame it on the Shame Part 1 was raw. So raw that it crippled me to the point of no return. It was so touching and all the emotions bleed out at the seams. This book was not a fairytale nor talks about rainbows and unicorns. If you are looking for a book like that, then this is not your book. This book was gritty. It was suspenseful. Ashley Jade did a spectacular job on weaving a story that brought out all the drama. It was so captivating. She also gave us a well written story that was both engrossing and had my eyes glued on the book. I was simp0ly in awe. Ashley Jade was able to weave magic into my heart through her powerful and touching story that oozed angst throughout the pages. I loved that it was centered, focused and detailed on Ricardo and Lou-Lou's life stories.
"He's past the point of washboard abs —his tall and lean body is absolutely ripped. He's fucking shredded, every single muscle molded and crafted to perfection."
Ricardo. Ricardo. Sweet baby, that man is just perfection. Son of one of the most vile and hated man, Bruno. Yep, I hate Bruno. Anyway this about my 'man' Ricardo. Yes he is my 'man' so hands off lol. Ricardo was amazing and I was so happy to find out more about him. I got to know his character more and I was truly amazed by it. He is amazing. So protective and loyal to his friends. So alpha. He is the epitome of perfection and I was just wowed by it lol. Even the quote above clearly describes his perfection. Not only did he have amazing traits but he had pain that cut deep to my soul. He had darkness in him that called out to me. All I wanted to do was to hug him. It tore me shreds but gave him an edge that I loved,.
"Last night I held a fallen angel in my arms while she wept. But this morning? This morning it's like I woke up with the devil. Or rather... the devil's mistress."
Now Lou-Lou was a different story. At first I hated her. I loved her more because I was able to understand her a lot. Her vulnerable nature was so painful. I found myself relating to her a lot. That's the beautiful thing. Being able to relate to a character thus making the book look realistic. I gravitate to things like that. I loved that Lou-Lou had so much pain but she was strong and badass. She was not a wilting flower but she had a past that brought tears to my eyes. Her story was a beacon to me. There was a balance to her. I loved that Ashley Jade was able to make me understand Lou-Lou a lot more and also make me feel for her once I knew her story. Both Ricardo and Lou-Lou were amazing together and had amazing chemistry that could explode. Together they were an undeniable force of nature and touched my soul.
Overall Blame it on the Shame was a fantastic, touching an emotional story that gripped me and made my heart flutter with emotions and angst. I loved every page, scene and dialogue of this book and has become one of my favourite books of 2016.
Author: A. Zavarelli
Type: Series. Boston Underworld Series, Book 3
Release Date: August 27
Rating: 5+ stars
"Time does not matter. Time does not even exist in this place. Or in my heart. Only the light in the distance."
Wow. What an awesome book. I have been waiting for this book for quite a long time and I was so excited when I got it that I wanted to shout to the heavens. What so amazing that after I finished Ghost, I was lost for words. At first, I could not even find my words on how to describe my feeling and then within a few minutes, I was struck with so much excitement because Ghost was so phenomenal. A. Zavarelli wrote an amazing book that is just the cream of the crop. Ghost was simply perfection and I loved it so much.
Ghost is about the story of Alexei and Talia and what a story. Damnn, I was simply captivated by this book. I was in awe. Ghost was beautiful and purely focused on the emotion and angst of Alexei and Talia. It was so much different than Crow and Reaper which I totally gravitated towards because the writing was just so damn good. Ghost was pure artistry and clearly showed the brilliant talent of A. Zavarelli. Ghost was darker than the previous two books in the series which gave so much dynamic to the story and truly mesmerized me. It was the right dose of darkness, the right dose of grittiness and the right dose of suspense that made my heart quicken and my eyes glued to the book. Not only that it had suspense and action that was spellbinding but the emotion and the angst just spoke to me. For a mafia book, it is pretty rare to have this magnitude of emotions and angst but that's what was so special about Ghost. It was a story like no other and that made me so happy. Ghost was an original story that spoke so many volumes and that's the beauty of it. Ghost made me feel all kind of emotions. Ghost made me happy, sad, cry, laugh, swoon, cry some more and amazed. A whole bunch of emotions and I loved every moment. I was a mess and that is the magical thing when a book makes you feel, it is simply becomes memorable. And Ghost was memorable. It shows that A. Zavarelli knows how to weave a story that enters into your system and stays there forever. That is why her books are fantastic. She gives you a story that makes you want to get up on your seat and rejoice. She is that good. I might be fangirling a bit lol. Her writing is simply addictive and just perfection.
"She is skin and bones. A tangled mess of blonde hair and a gaunt, lifeless face. Those empty gray eyes were a painful reminder of someone else."
Talia was a heroine that made me truly emotional in the series. Her story broke my heart. I felt for her and her journey throughout in the book was simply awe inspiring. She was so weak but there was a certain strength in her that made her such a likable character. I could totally relate to her and her struggles. But there are times I wanted to shake to her senses a bit lol. I loved that she shyowed that she was a bit badass but her vulnerable side called out to me more because her thoughts and feelings were just spoke to me.
"He’s broad shouldered and powerful. The type of man with a presence that can’t be ignored. Athletic and toned. A fighter, I think… maybe."
Alexei is one of those rare heroes that are simply powerful, possessive and dangerous but yet have a vulnerable side that calls out to her. I loved it because Alexei was so much different from Lachlan from Crow and Ronan from Reaper and I found myself gravitating towards him and wanting to know his story more and more. I loved his dominating side. He did start out a bit cruel but he came through when he showed his protectiveness towards Talia and that made me swoon. I just fell in love with him.
Both Alexei and Talia were completely a dynamic couple. I loved that they found each other in the dark and made me simply happy. They had cosmic energy that was just addictive and mesmerizing. A. Zavarelli really outdid herself with these two characters.
Overall, Ghost was amazing. There are not enough words that can do justice. All you have to do is buy Ghost because it is one of those books that will live in your heart and truly impact you. Ghost has become one of my favourite books of the year and the crème de ls crème of mafia romance.
Author: Nancy Haviland
Genre: Mafia/Organized Crime/Dark
Type: Series. Wanted Men Series, Book 5, Part 1
Rating: 5 stars
Grievous by Nancy Haviland is one of those mafia books that truly make your heart pump and give you so much excitement. I know, I only read one book by Nancy and I jumped to get to read Grievous but there was just something about the title and the blurb of the book that I simply had to read. Of course, I was not disappointed at all but I was just so happy that I got the opportunity to read Grievous because it was fifty shades of awesome.
In Grievous, we meet Yasmeen, a woman attending a funeral for Markus Fane, Lucian Fane's brother. She once had a relationship with Lucian Fane and still harbours an attraction for him and thus attending the funeral. Lucian Fane sees Yasmeen and decides to kidnap her. He proposes her to become his sex pet for a while to get rid of his grief. Grievous was a beautifully written story of love, grief, anguish and action. Nancy Haviland weaved a story that had me on the edge of my seat. She also gave us a story that completely captivated me and poured out emotions that made me so emotional. I could not help but be lost in this story. Grievous was not only just a mafia story but a tale filled emotional angst and a dominating energy that mesmerized me. This story was much more darker than most books in the Wanted Men series because it gave a dynamic and thrilling edge. I loved it.
"His was an orphaned girl who’d grown up in a dilapidated neighborhood, surrounded by poverty and crime, yet now appeared regal enough to rule a nation."
Yasmeen was an awe inspiring heroine to read. She was a strong woman with so much strength that she was able to keep up with Lucian. I loved her character because she had some fight. I also felt for her because she came a bad past but she came up stronger and better and I admired her. I also loved that she showed more of her submission without being a doormat or weak. I admired that a lot. I also loved that she showed her vulnerable nature at the right time.
"Standing around six-two-ish, and broad in the shoulders, he had hair the color of black coffee and amber eyes that made her think of warm whiskey. His skin had a smooth olive tone that reflected his Romanian heritage, and she’d yet to look at him without seeing a gothic castle in the back of her mind, the scene complete with a full moon and bats flying overhead."
Oh my my did Lucian Fane impress. He was always mentioned in previous books as powerful but to read his thoughts and have his actions more upfront was more exciting. Lucian Fane was an over the top alpha and just could not help but fall in love with him. He was dominating and so powerful that made my ovaries explode. Lol. So hot. Oh yes, Lucian made me weak. But behind the power and money, there was a man with pain that gutted me and with the loss of his brother, it made him stand out a lot more. I loved.
Both Yasmeen and Lucian had amazing chemistry that made Grievous truly more dynamic and so thrilling. These two characters truly made me story flow. I cannot wait to find out more from them.
Overall, Grievous was an epic tale that truly had me so breathless and excited. It was one of the books that gave me a book hangover and has become one of my favourite mafia books of 2016.

Title: Born Sinner
Author: S.L. Jennings
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Type: Series. Se7en Sinners Series, Book 1
Rating: 5 stars
“You have me, Eden. Live for me. Hold on for me.”
Wow. Omg, this book was bloody fantastic. Wow. It took me a while to really try to formulate words to describe my feelings towards Born Sinner. Born Sinner was more than a masterpiece. It was more than beautiful. It was more than explosive. It was just pure magic.
I am not going to be one of those people who tell you what this book is about. All I can say is simply go with your instincts and read because Born Sinner will open you up beyond your wildest dreams. S.L. Jennings wrote a story that was dark, dangerous, sinful and just beautiful. She weaved a phenomenal paranormal tale filled with angels, demons and magic. Like I always say no one can write a paranormal story but S.L. Jennings. Born Sinner was such an addictive read. It was that one book that had my heart pumping so hard by the sheer excitement of it. My eyes were just glued to this book to the point that I was devouring it like I was type of drug. To me, Born Sinner was an addictive drug that was going through my system that I could not get enough of. It was amazing but I loved that it was unique and different and that made it more captivating.
Apart from the story itself, the characters were unique and so engaging that it made he story flow. Although it was written in single POV, I found myself gravitating to the characters and understanding their story.
"To her, I’m just a troubled girl with a dark past who she wants to love and nurture. But in reality, I’m a troubled girl with a dark past whose thoughts and words are weapons."
Eden, what a heroine. I loved her strength but it was her vulnerable side that made me feel for her. Her upbringing and what she went through tore my heart and made her likable. I loved her tenacity even though there was some weakness in her. I found it a bit annoying sometimes and I wanted to shake Eden to her senses.
"He’s a demon. A creature of filth and destruction. A monster that brutalized me when I was scared and confused. Yet his touch brought me safety. His words brought me comfort. His very presence chased away the terrors in my dreams and replaced them with something else. Something sweet and tender. He replaced that wickedness with… himself."
Legion was just dangerous. Omg. He was all evil but wow, it was the sexy evil kind. Lol. Wait, apart from being sexy and dangerous, he was something beyond amazing but still have that vulnerable side that added dynamic to his character. He has so much anguish and all I wanted was to hug him. There are no words. All I can say is I fucking loved him. Legion and Eden had so much chemistry that made Born Sinner so mesmerizing to me.
Born Sinner was truly fucking amazing. So awesome that it gave me a book hangover that I could not get out of. It took a while. But all I know that Born Sinner has become one of my favourite books of 2016.

"Pain. It hurts us. It pushes us. It punishes us. Or, for the few poor souls out there like me...it defines us."
You know what I love the most when it comes to reading, finding new authors. But what is more special is finding a book from a new author that completely makes you so excited and actually fall in love with. Blame it on the Pain was that special book to me. Written by Ashley Jade, Blame it on the Pain is a captivating and emotional story that had me on the edge of my seat.
Jackson is an underground fighter who is going through pain after seeing his sister dead and kills his best friend. He faces imprisonment in jail but enters a deal with a mob boss to be his underground fighter. Alyssa is also going through her own pain after watching her father getting murdered and video of her that went viral. Both Jackson and Alyssa meet and sparks fly. This was a different story that I loved a lot. The story itself was so mesmerizing and I loved it . There was so much drama and action that it made my heart pump with so much excitement. And the feels. Omg the feels in this book just made me cry. There was so much angst that it made me cry. The scenes actually spoke to me because of the feelings evoked throughout the book.
I always say the characters make the book. Jackson and Alyssa totally made the book so amazing. I loved them together. You know when two characters suffer and carry so much pain and darkness but together they can create loads of light. That was Jackson and Alyssa. This book was a journey for the two of them. Jackson was so caring and loving. He was so protective and I truly felt sorry for him. Alyssa was strong and sassy. But its their vulnerable side that spoke to me more. Their feelings that made my heart ache a lot sometimes. Their story was so beautiful.

Title: Lost in Me, Found in You
Author: Ivy Love
Genre: Contemporary Romance/BDSM
Rating: 3 stars
Lost in Me, Found in You is about two best friends who each have struggles in their lives and how these struggles impact their lives as a whole. This is my second book by Ivy Love and it explores the dynamics of friendship. To me, this book was captivating and loved the plot of the story. I was truly intrigued by the story.
Isabelle has been married for 8 years and her husband has been abusive both physically and mentally. Her best friend Liz speculates that Izzy is not alright so she asks her to accompany her to a BDSM club where she is about to have her first sexual encounter with Ryker, her Dom. Izzy is left alone but soon he attracts two men, Anthony and Matt who are drawn to her. This story was interesting in a way. My eyes were drawn to the story and I wanted to find out more. The plot was mesmerizing but I found myself confused by the events of the story. The plot was a well thought out plot and I do love stories that have BDSM but I felt the book was lacking in balance. I felt that the book was too rushed and thus leaving me with so many questions. I felt the book had too many different stories. It was so engrossing and I did love certain parts of the story but if it was well developed, the book would have been great read instead of an okay read.
I loved all the characters. I also loved that there were multiple POVs from different characters although I felt it was it was too busy. I would have loved to have more background of characters. Get to know more about their story. The story was centered on Isabelle and Liz and both these characters truly had a story that spoke to me. Both have through a lot but I think its their strength that truly was a highlight in this book. In the next book, I would love to know more about every single character if the author includes their POVs.
Overall, this book was ok. There were parts that blew my mind and they were parts that I felt needed more structure but I commend the author for writing a book with a clear distinctive message. I am intrigued to find out what happens next.
Title: Untimely You
Author: K. Webster
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: 5 stars
“Let me show you how amazing sex can be then. For tonight, I want to be your whole world.”
I have been a fan of K. Webster's books and she always delivers stories that are beyond the norm. There is something different in her books which I love. I love her dark, twisty and fucked up books that always get me to edge of my seat but its her emotional books that are always touch my heart. Untimely You is an emotional book that truly had you on a rollercoaster of feelings. This book had me bawling like a baby but truly told an unforgettable story of loss, love and forgiveness.
I do not want to spoil this book for you. This one of those books where you have to take a chance and read. Not only does this book blow your mind but it tells a beautiful story that spoke to me. Besides the emotional story, Untimely You was a book that made me smile and laugh. It was not just about a book that brought out the feels, although I wanted to cry every scene but there were moments that were so inspiring that it brought so much light and heart to the story. Not only was it touching but there was a unique story which I did not expect and definitely showed the signature writing style of K. Webster. Her ability to create different stories that are both engrossing and different just makes me fall in love with her books more and more.
Untimely You not only had an unforgettable story but it had characters who were dynamic and truly gave an edge to the story. Untimely introduced us to Neesy and Adrian who completely had an enchanting yet emotional story together. They had true chemistry and I followed their thoughts and feelings which captivated me.
"She’s so vibrant and full of life. She makes my heart ache with need. With every smile or laugh, she sends currents of happiness coursing through me. I love being around her. I love kissing and making love to her."
Neesy was such an awesome heroine. She was unique, funny, kind and full of life but its her vulnerable nature that spoke more. Her willingness to forgive easily. People might see that as being a doormat but it was not. It was her true nature that brought life to every single scene in the book. Her willingness to fight for love and her ambitions clearly made her one of my favourite heroines.
"I don’t want her to be sad. I want to give her the sun and the moon and every goddamn star in the sky."
Adrian was someone who I felt needed help lol. I know, harsh but true lol. He was hot and cold all the time. First he wanted Neesy then he would feel guilty for wanting her. It was frustrating lol. But it was his pain that made me want to read more. His pain made me emotional and I even cried a bit. He was so protective and loving but his anger issues made him a tad irrational but I loved him.
Untimely You was an amazing book that truly touched my heart and will forever leave a imprint in me.
